“Interventional Pain Treatments: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly”
by Dr. Leon Ensalada
Leon Ensalada, MD, MPH, is a medical doctor At Evidence Based Pain and Spine in Oro Valley. He earned his medical degree in 1979 from Dartmouth Medical School. He also served in the United States Army from 1968 to 2009. He looks forward to speaking to us about Interventional Pain Treatments. He will review the evidence for, and against, some of the interventional pain treatments (facet injections and radiofrequency ablations, epidural steroid injections and so on) that are often claimed in personal injury and worker’s compensation claims. He will discuss how they are done, why they are done and, whether, based on the current state of medical evidence, they should be done.
